When I gaze out through my window pane,
The sight of birds lights up my brain.
In perfect V they sweep the sky,
A marvel that just drifts on by.
|
सहज ते दिसते खिडकीतुनी
उडत ओळित पक्षि नभातुनी
सुबक कोन धरून उडे थवा
प्रखर देत ’समन्वय’ हा नवा
|

Who teaches them that faultless art,
That common rhythm, heart to heart?
Their wings in tune, their aim so clear—
Isn’t there enough to learn, dear?
|
शिकत ते कुठुनी असली कला
हृदय ते हृदयास कसे कळे
पर लयीत समन्वय साधते
नसत का शिकवीत हि साधना
|

Then down below, the ants I see,
In silent lines of harmony.
No sound, no shout, yet all align,
Their purpose pure, their steps divine.

बघ लयीतच मुंगिहि चालता
निरव चालत ओळ न सोडता
बघत लक्ष्य सदोदित नेमके
नसत हीणहि हेतुत कोठले
|

Who holds their reins, who leads their
band,
Through time’s long tunnel, grain and sand?
They waste no hour, they shed no tear—
Isn’t there enough to learn, dear?
|
सतत कोण तयांसहि चालवे
कणहि वेचत वाळुतुनी निके
न कधि थांबति, अश्रु न गाळती
नसत का शिकवीत हि साधना
|

In every rhythm, small or grand,
There moves an unseen guiding hand.
Who sets the stars, who stirs the breeze,
Who paints the bloom on forest trees?
|
सजवि कोण अधांतरि तारका
बहर जंगलि कोण करे उभा?
लयित कोण लहान महान वा
सतत दाखवि कोण तयां पथा
|

No Sunday rest, no holiday,
Yet all in joy they find their way.
Their constant zeal, their vision clear—
Isn’t there enough to learn, dear?
|
न सुटि ना रविवारहि त्यांजला
सतत शोधिति तो पथ चांगला
बघत स्पष्टच ध्येय न सोडता
नसत का शिकवीत हि साधना
|
|

And we, the humans, blessed with mind,
With hearts that seek, with dreams that
bind
The key to knowledge in our hold,
To shape our thoughts, both new and old.
|
मग असूनहि मेंदु नि भावना
कळत का न खरा पथ मानवा
कळ असे जवळी, मग ज्ञानही
वर त्वरे, धर ओढहि अंतरी
|

No pause in learning, none in care,
Each moment precious, rich and rare.
Move on with purpose, far or near
Isn’t there enough to learn, dear?

चल धरूनच ध्येय सदोदित
नसत का शिकवीतच ही रित
|
